Mental Health

Mental health is at the heart of every journey — especially during and after pregnancy. At From Freya, we understand how silent and overwhelming the struggle can be. That’s why we’re committed to creating space for honesty, healing, and support.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply trying to make sense of it all, you are not alone. Through shared stories, access to resources, and a community that listens without judgment, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Reading Corner

New industry players

Change doesn’t happen in isolation — it takes a collective effort. That’s why we’re excited to welcome new voices, experts, and organizations into the space of maternal and neonatal health. These emerging players bring fresh ideas, diverse perspectives, and a shared passion for improving the care and support families receive before, during, and after birth.

At From Freya, we believe in collaboration over competition. By connecting with new leaders across research, innovation, and mental health advocacy, we’re creating stronger pathways to lasting change. Together, we can amplify impact, close care gaps, and ensure no story is left unheard.

A Word from CEO Yves Dunne

This space gives you more room to expand on your message. Remember that writing effectively is an art. Start by using simple, everyday words people can easily understand. Be clear and direct to the point. Keep your thoughts flowing logically, and aim for brevity.

Your ideas have a purpose, so choose words that accurately express them. Ensure your grammar is flawless as it impacts your credibility. Use the active voice whenever possible as it makes any narrative easier to read.

See you in the next Brimton Herald!

Become a Volunteer

Why We Need You

Who can volunteer with From Freya?

Anyone with a passion for supporting maternal and neonatal health is welcome.
Whether you're a student, professional, researcher, artist, or simply someone who wants to help, there's space for you in our community. We value empathy, creativity, and commitment over credentials.

What kind of tasks can I help with?

It depends on your skills and interests!
Volunteers contribute in many ways — from social media support, research assistance, and content writing to design, outreach, and event planning. We’ll match your strengths with areas where we need help.

Is there a time commitment?

We’re flexible.
You can choose how much time you’re able to offer — whether it’s a few hours a week or support on a one-time project. We’re grateful for any time you can share.

Do I need previous experience to volunteer?

Not at all.
We welcome beginners just as much as experienced professionals. What matters most is your willingness to contribute and learn. We’ll provide any guidance or tools you need to get started.
